CUET UG 2025 Exam Guidelines: Important Instructions Released, Reach Exam Centre Well in Advance
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025 is set to begin from 13th May 2025 and will continue till 3rd June 2025. Through this entrance test, students will get admission into various undergraduate courses in central and state universities across the country. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already released admit cards for exams scheduled between 13th to 16th May 2025. Candidates appearing for the exam must follow the important guidelines issued by the agency, failing which they may be denied entry at the exam centre. So, it is strongly advised to read the instructions carefully and be fully prepared on the day of the exam.
CUET UG 2025 Will Be Conducted in CBT Mode
This year as well, the CUET UG 2025 will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The reporting time is clearly mentioned on the admit card. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 15-20 minutes before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute hassles.
Documents Required for Entry into the Exam Centre
Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre. Without these, entry will not be allowed under any circumstances:
A printed copy of the CUET UG 2025 Admit Card
The same passport-size photograph that was uploaded on the admit card
A valid photo ID proof – such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Voter ID
Dress Code Must Be Followed
NTA has set a specific dress code for the exam. Candidates should wear light and simple clothes. Fancy outfits, full-sleeve kurtas, large buttons, broad belts, or shoes are strictly not allowed. Girls should avoid using big hairpins, hairbands, or any kind of accessories. Candidates wearing religious attire are advised to report early to allow enough time for the frisking process.
Banned Items Inside the Exam Centre
The use of any electronic gadgets is completely prohibited inside the exam hall. Items such as:
Mobile phones
Smart watches
Bluetooth devices
Calculators
Bags, books, or handwritten notes
are not allowed at all.
